My book...?

"I sighed quite loudly as my eyes drifted up towards the blue, cloudless mass of sky; the brilliant sun, radiating down to earth, blinded me as I stared."

That's the first line in my book.

This rough, hugely unedited book, is an insane mess of my emotions, thoughts, and imagination. You could call it a fiction...ehh...romance? Sure, I guess it's a romance novel. That's the only way I know how to write. I've tried to expand and dwell on other thoughts than love, but a 14 year old girl, such as myself, has a very hard time with that. This 360 page (so far), uh, thing, isn't anywhere near finished. All throughout the word document are little notes here and there of random thoughts and paragraphs of random story where I had a creative moment and had to write them down (or type them, I guess). Probably only 120ish pages of this book contains a flowing story. (There are also lots of places where you can tell I was up at 5:00 in the morning writing and all I knew how to type was twinkle twinkle little star, or something along the lines of "I'm falling asleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.....................crash.")
This novel does not yet have a title, nor will it have one for a very...very long time. I have much difficulty when thinking of titles for any piece of music, paper, essay etc. Not quite sure why that is, but a title says a lot in a book and I can tend to contemplate too much. I was thinking the other day that my title should be, The Adventures of Alexandria White: Teenager Extraordinair...okay, that's definitely a joke. For all that don't know, my beloved teacher, Mrs. Bowerman, wrote a book called The Adventures of Faedra: Shifter Extraordinair, and is well into her next one which I have now blanked on the title. Anyways, so for the past year or so, I've been working on my whatever you want to call it, though the altogether amount of actual days spent working on it would probably only add up to about two months, or less.
Hopefully, within the next two and half years of highschool, I will have it finished. I'm quite the procrastinator and get writer's block on a monthly basis, so I'll see, but it would be a great accomplishment to have a book written by senior year. I dreamed of getting it done this year, but for how lazy I've become, I now know that won’t happen. Maybe I'll attempt to finish the story line and then spend the next two years editing like crazy and adding more detail and flow as my writing capabilities increase.
